Health profession boards team up to sponsor patient safety conference

The Missouri 2014 Joint Regulatory Patient Safety Conference will promote culture of safety

Jefferson City, Mo. - The Missouri Dental Board, Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy, and the Board of Registration for the Healing Arts invite healthcare providers throughout the state to participate in the 2014 Joint Regulatory Patient Safety Conference. The event will be held on August 7 in Columbia.

The conference offers a forum for board members and healthcare providers to discuss effective patient safety tools and strategies. Presentations will be given by patient safety leaders in Missouri and will include sessions on Second Victim Syndrome, Medication Reconciliation, and a Regulatory Roundtable.

The conference is jointly sponsored by the regulatory boards to promote safe patients, safe practice, and a safe Missouri.
