Department of Insurance available today and Thursday in Branson for residents affected by Leap Day storms
Individuals, businesses invited to bring insurance questions
Jefferson City, Mo. - Representatives from the Missouri Department of Insurance will be available to assist consumers at storm recovery events in Branson today and Thursday. Consumers with damage from the tornadoes and severe storms on Feb. 29 can ask questions about home, commercial, auto or other types of insurance over the next two days at the Red Cross Multi-Agency Resource Center at the Red Roof Mall.
Numerous state, federal and local agencies will also be in attendance, as well as relief organizations such as the Red Cross and Salvation Army to help those affected by the storms.
Dates: Today and Thursday
Location: Red Roof Mall, Building 7, 1000 Pat Nash Drive, Branson
Times: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Consumers can also file complaints or ask general questions about insurance by visiting insurance.mo.gov or calling the Department of Insurance Consumer Hotline at 800-726-7390.
